Military is Making Flying insects

Israel is making a robot the size of a hornet.  Its still a prototype and plans to be out in three years.  They are named MAVS, Micro Air Vehicles.

British Special Forces already have one similar to this.  They are called WASPs used in Afghanistan.  It cost $3,000 and is operated with a small controller.  Its almost complete silent so its easy to sneek up to the enemy.  A new idea is to add a warhead to these little insects to attack snipers.

The US is working future Micro-Munitions which will be pocket size.   This was reported by Fred Davis of the Air Force located in Florida.

These MAVS could sneek into buildings and may release a cloud of metal-coated fibers like they did in Kosovo.  These fibers could destroy PCs and other electronic Gear.
